We are the only music store of our kind in Nelson, offering new and used vinyl records and CDs from all different genres. Some of the music we offer is created by local Kootenay artists.

Vinyl records are really coming back into style, and we see people of all ages gathering to listen to their favourite tunes and admire the creative cover art. The “vinyl revival” is one trend we’re happy to get on board with!

How our book trading works

• We are open seven days a week and welcome your books or music anytime Monday through Saturday. Sunday is our rest day.
• Please bring one manageable serving at a time, such as one box or one bag.
• Books and music can be traded for credit to use towards either books or music—whichever you bring in—or you can request cash.
• Books cost either half the original Canadian price or we’ve penciled the price on the upper right corner of the first writable page.
• Some books allow for a straight trade at roughly two-for-one, while others are marked half-cash, half-credit, which means you can use half your credit toward the book and pay the other half in cash, debit or credit card.
